What is G-Cash?

G-Cash is the brand new service that turns your cellphone into an electronic wallet and it is a first from Globe!. With G-Cash, Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers can easily and conveniently send and receive cash and make payments, just by texting. How do I activate my G-Cash service?

To register, send REG (4-digit M-PIN)/(Mother's Maiden Name)/(FirstName)/(LastName)/(Address)/Tel No. with area code to 2882

You will then receive a text message saying that you have successfully registered.

Important Note: When you register your name (and other details) make sure it matches the information that will be seen on your valid I.D (Examples of Valid IDs: drivers license, SSS card with photo, Postal ID).

How do I send G-Cash to a Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber?

1. Just go to any Globe Business Center, Globelines Payment and Services Center or an Authorized G-Cash Outlet that accepts cash-in transactions.

2. Fill up a G-Cash Form.

3. Please present a Valid I.D.

4. Pay the processing fee. For Globe Business Centers and Globelines Payment and Services Centers, a flat fee of Php10.00 for any transaction below Php1,000. For transactions above Php1,000 the fee is 1% of the amount.

Example: Php10.00 for Php1,000 amount.

5. Frontliner will send the G-Cash to your beneficiary and give you an Acknowledgement Receipt (A.R.) of the transfer and an Official Receipt (O.R) of the processing fee.

    Non-subscribers can also send cash electronically to Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers through authorized G-Cash outlets.

    How do I activate my G-CASH service?

    First, a Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber should register to be able to cash-out their G-Cash at authorized G-Cash outlets or send G-Cash to another Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber. A subscriber doesn’t have to register to receive G-Cash. However, he must register to be able to cash-out or send G-Cash to another subscriber.

    To register, send REG (4-digit M-PIN)/(Mother's Maiden Name)/

    The subscriber will then receive an acknowledgement receipt of the successful registration.

    Also, it is important that the subscriber registers his real name and details as the information will have to match his I.D.

    Are there any limits to the amount of transactions?

    Minimum amount for person-to-person transfer is P1.00. However, minimum cash-out or cash-in transaction will depend on the outlet where you are cashing-in or cashing-out.

    For Globe Business Centers, there is no minimum cash-in and cash-out amount. However, the fee for cash-in/cash-out transactions below P1,000 will be a flat P10.00 while for transactions P1,000 and above, the fee will be 1% of the amount being cashed-in/out (Ex. P10.00 for a P1,000.00 transaction). Maximum cash-in and cash-out at a Globe Business Center is P10,000.

    Maximum amount for single cash-in, cash-out, or person-to-person transfer transaction is Php 10,000. A subscriber can accumulate only a maximum of Php 10,000 worth of G-cash in his wallet; thereafter he must cash-out or transfer G-cash to another person before he can accept more G-Cash. Maximum amount of cash-out or person-to-person transfer per subscriber per day, regardless of number of transactions, is Php 40,000. Maximum amount that can be transacted, regardless of number of

    How do I claim my G-CASH?

    You may go to a Globe Business Center or you may go to any G-Cash outlet which is authorized to do Cash-out (Please see attached list, rates will depend on each partner).

    A. For Business Center

    1. Fill up a G-Cash service form (name, amount to be cashed-out and mobile number of subscriber).
    2. Present required identification to the frontliner (please see attached list of valid ID’s).
    3. Subscriber pays processing fee (For amounts below P1,000 there is a flat P10.00 fee. For amounts P1,000 and above, 1% of amount will be the fee, for ex. P10.00 for every P1,000.00 being cashed-out).
    4. Frontliner will write down a unique transaction code on the service form.
    5. The business center will send a text message to the subscriber requesting to deduct the G-Cash from their wallet. The subscriber simply has to reply with his MPIN to confirm.
    6. Frontliner will then print an acknowledgement receipt for the cash-out and an official receipt for the transaction fee.
    7. Subscriber receives the cash. Note: Maximum cash-out is Php 10,000 (which is also maximum amount that a regular subscriber’s G-Cash wallet can hold at any given time).

    B. For authorized G-CASH Outlet

    1. Fill up a service form (ex. name, amount to be cashed-out and mobile number of subscriber).
    2. Subscriber presents required identification to the frontliner.
    3. Subscriber pays processing fee (this will depend on each outlet). He can either pay it in cash or include it in the G-Cash amount that will be sent to the outlet’s mobile phone no.
    4. Frontliner will show outlet’s authorized mobile number to subscriber.
    5. Subscriber sends the following message: and send to 2882+<10 digit mobile number of authorized outlet>
    6. Subscriber receives the cash from authorized outlet. Note: minimum and maximum cash-out depends on each outlet.

    How do I send G-CASH to a Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber?

    Just send the following message: (amount to be sent) (M-PIN) (70 character message) and send to 2882+(10 digit mobile number of recipient. 70 character message is optional

    How do I load G-Cash into my phone?

    Just go to any Authorized G-Cash outlet which accepts Cash-in transactions. Show required identification to frontliner. Give the frontliner the cash plus the processing fee and the outlet will send the G-Cash to your mobile phone number directly.

    What if I lose my phone? Can I still claim my G-Cash?

    You must report the loss of your phone promptly to Customer Service. You can still claim your G-Cash provided it has not yet been claimed at the time the loss is reported. In reporting the loss, please specify that you have a G-Cash wallet and that you want it blocked. Once properly reported, Globe will block access to the G-Cash wallet. You may then go to any Globe Business Center or Globelines Payment and Service Center (please see list of Globe Business Centers Globelines Payment Centers) and present a valid ID (please see list of Valid ID’s) in order to unblock the access and claim your G-Cash. The frontliner will validate your identification. If you can successfully answer all validation questions, you may cash-out your G-Cash wallet balance or transfer the balance to a new Prepaid SIM.

    What if I send G-Cash to an expired number? Can my beneficiary get the amount? Can I get back the amount?

    Please ensure first that the recipient of your G-Cash is an active number, and please advise your beneficiary to claim the G-Cash promptly. If the number you sent G-Cash to is expired, your beneficiary will have go to a Globe Business Center or Globelines Payment and Service Center so he can claim the remittance. You cannot claim back the amount from the cash-in outlet.

    How do I use G-Cash for my purchases?

    1. For Buying Prepaid Load

      To buy Prepaid Reload, send LOAD (amount) (MPIN) send to 2882+(10 digit mobile #). Ex: LOAD 300 4321. If sending to self, send LOAD (amount) (MPIN) to 2882 Enjoy 5% G-Cash bonus on all your G-Cash Load purchases. Denominations available are: P25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 300 & 500. P1.00/txn.

    2. For Paying Bills

      To pay bills w/ G-Cash, send BILLPAY (amount) (MPIN) (institution code) (account/contract/ATM/phone ref. no.) to 2882. Ex. To pay for G-Plan bill, BILLPAY 1500 1234 GPLAN 25563213.

    3. For buying RAGNAROK Credits?

      Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers can buy Ragnarok Credits (playing time) just using their G-Cash. Now, Ragnarok players don’t have to go out and buy prepaid cards (or even get up from their chairs, for that matter). All they have to do is text BUY RAGNAROK to 2822. They will then get a message from 2882 to confirm the purchase and then they will receive their Ragnarok PIN from 2822.

      Just text LIST RAGNAROK to 2822. Charge for this is P2.50 for both Postpaid, Prepaid.

    5. For Outlet Transactions

      For G-Cash Outlets that accept G-Cash as payment (please see attached list of G-Cash Outlets), you will need to send G-Cash from your phone to the phone number of the outlet. The frontliner will initiate the payment transaction using their service unit. You will receive a request from the merchant to deduct the amount of the product/ payment from your wallet. Simply reply with your MPIN to confirm the purchase The outlet’s frontliner will instruct you on how to send the G-Cash in case they are using a different device to accept the payment (Ex. P.O.S. device or computer) or if the outlet is using a different process (some outlets will opt to have the subscriber send the G-Cash to the outlet’s service unit using P2P transaction).

    Can I make donations using G-Cash?

    To donate using G-CASH, send DONATE(space)(amount)(MPIN) send to 2882+(10-digit mobile number of charitable institution) to 2882. Below are the numbers of charitable institutions.

    1. How do I send G-Cash to a Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber? Can I send to a non-Globe or Touch Mobile subscriber?

      G-Cash can only be received by Globe Handyphone and Touch Mobile subscribers.

      G-Cash can only be received by Globe Handyphone and Touch Mobile subscribers.

      Just go to any Authorized International G-Cash Outlet who accepts Cash-in transactions (please see attached list).

      Fill up a Cash-in Form which will require you to give your full name, address and telephone number, your beneficiary’s name, address, telephone number and mobile phone number as well as the amount that you would like to send. Please make sure to present a Valid I.D.

    1. How do I become an authorized G-Cash Outlet?

      If you are interested to become a G-Cash Outlet, (for Business Center) please call 739-2882 and give your contact details, (for Customer Service), please give us your contact details. A G-Cash business manager will contact you. Existing Autoload Max and Autoload Advantage dealers can also get in touch with their account managers

    2. Are the forms required for Cash-in and Cash-out transactions?

      Yes, forms are required for both Cash-in and Cash-out transactions to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering Act of the Phiippines which requires all outlets to know their customer.

    3. What if I send G-Cash to an expired number? Can my customer get back the amount?

      Please ensure first that the recipient of the G-Cash is an active number, and please advise your customer to make sure that his beneficiary claims the G-Cash promptly. If the number your customer sent G-Cash to is expired, his beneficiary will have to go to a Globe Business Center or Globelines Payment and Service Center to claim the remittance. Your customer cannot claim back the amount from your outlet.

    How does an Overseas Filipino send G-CASH to someone in the Philippines?

    1. Go to any Authorized International G-CASH Outlet that accepts Cash-in transactions.

    2. Fill up a G-CASH form.

    3. Pay the processing fee.

    4. Please present a Valid I.D.

    5. Pay the processing fee to the frontliner.

    6. Frontliner will send the G-CASH to your beneficiary and give an A.R. of the transfer and an O.R. of the processing fee.

    7. Recipient will receive G-CASH and a text confirmation of the transaction.

    GLOBE G-CASH SUPERFERRY PROMO

    HOW DOES A SUBSCRIBER MAKE A G-CASH PURCHASE FOR A SUPERFERRY TICKET?

    The subscriber has to call the Superferry hotline: 02-528-7000 and he will get instructions on how to m ake the purchase. The subscriber will be asked to give his mobile number to the hotline assistant. The subscriber will then receive a request for deduction of his wallet from Superferry, he simply has to reply with his MPIN. The subscriber will be informed where he can pick up his tickets. There are two offices where he can pick up his tickets: Either in the Superferry ATI office, Pier 15, Eva Macapagal Super Terminal – Harbor Centre 25th St.,cor. Railroad St., Port Area, Manila or at Superferry Times Plaza office, 7/F Times Plaza Bldg., U.N. Ave. cor. Taft Ave. , Ermita, Manila. The subscriber will just have to present his reference no. to pick up his ticket.

    AUTOLOAD MAX + G-CASH DISTRIBUTOR / RETAILER SIM FAQ’s

    1. What is Autoload MAX + G-Cash Distributor/ Retailer SIM?

    The Autoload MAX+G-Cash Distributor/Retailer SIM is an enhanced version of our regular Autoload MAX Distributor/Retailer SIM. On top of the regular AutoloadMAX transactions, this SIM is now G-cash ready. This means new AMAX distributors and retailers can do G-Cash transactions, like business to business transactions or person to person purchases with great ease & speed.

    2. Can existing AMAX distributors and retailers upgrade their SIM to include G-Cash transactions?

    The prepaid AutoloadMAX SIM which is G-Cash ready is available for NEW AutoloadMAX dealers/retailers. Upgrades are still being produced for existing AutoloadMAX dealers/retailers.

    NOTE:

    Postpaid AutoloadMAX SIM which are G-cash ready (allocated for branded chains/key accounts) are currently being produced. Also, for those who are not using G-Cash-ready AMAX SIM’s, G-Cash transactions are very simple. Just text INFO TOPICS for a list of G-Cash functions and just type INFO to get specific instructions on how to use the G-Cash function.

    3.How much is the AMAX+G-Cash Distributor/Retailer SIM?

    For only P150, interested AutoloadMAX distributors can now purchase an AMAX+ G-Cash distributor/Retailer SIM.

    4.What are the advantages of having the AMAX+G-Cash Distributor/Retailer SIM?

    G-Cash allows distributors and retailers to make over-the-air payments to each other so that both the loading of their prepaid load wallets and the payments for the load are very convenient.

    G-Cash distributors who are accredited G-Cash merchants can have G-Cash wallet sizes that are higher than the standard P10,000 wallet limit of regular subscribers. Thus, they can accept payments from agents over the air, anytime, anywhere. At the end of the day, their wallet balances are transferred to their bank accounts. Plus, transactions over the STK Menu for G-Cash are FREE.

    Retailers can now pay distributors through G-Cash for hassle free reloading of their Prepaid Load accounts. Retailers who are not accredited G-Cash merchants can still have G-Cash wallets but with a P10,000 limit. Plus, transactions over the STK Menu for G-Cash are FREE.

    5.What are the fees for making G-Cash transactions?

    • G-Cash transactions to access code 2882: P1.00. These transactions are FREE of charge if he uses the SIM menu.

    6. What are the wallet and transaction limits of G-Cash?

    Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers have a wallet limit of P10,000 at any given time. They can have a maximum transaction of P10,000 at a time and they are only allowed to send a maximum of P40,000 in a day and P100,000 in a month.

    Accredited G-Cash merchants, however, have higher wallet limits depending on their merchant application.

    7. How do I apply to be an accredited G-Cash merchant?

    Please contact your existing account manager under Globe Handyphone Sales or Globe Business Centers and they will give you the process for becoming an accredited G-Cash merchant.

    8. How can I use G-Cash for my business?

    A. Prepaid Load-related

    You can use G-Cash to purchase Load from a distributor.

    B. Retail business

    You can use G-Cash for:

    a) Deliveries – Globe and Touch mobile subscribers can pay you with G-Cash over the air and you can then deliver your product to the subscriber.

    b) E-commerce – you can make settlement for your online merchandise over G-Cash and then you can just deliver the product.

    c) In-store payments – subscribers can pay for your in-store products with G-Cash.

    d) G-Cash Loading business – you can charge a processing fee for converting G-Cash to cash or vice versa. However, you will need a remittance license for conducting this business.

    How do I use G-CASH Payments?

    A. For Outlet Transactions

      For G-CASH Outlets that accept G-CASH as payment, the frontliner will initiate the transaction. You will receive a request from the merchant to deduct the amount of the product from your G-CASH wallet.Simply reply with YES to confirm the purchase or NO to reject the purchase. Send it to 2882.Alternatively, the outlet may also ask you to initiate the transaction by sending G-CASH to the outlet's service unit via P2P transaction.

    B. For Online Transactions

      For myAyala SureSeats and other web-based transactions of partner establishments, simply follow instructions on the website on how to pay using your G-CASH.
